THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a safety and quality conscious Plant Mechanic to join the team. In this role, you will be working on a 2 and 1 roster, with FIFO opportunities available. Flights and accommodation and meal allowances will be provided.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL
* Service and maintain equipment and vehicles
* Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
* Conduct plant and equipment inspections
* Attend to breakdowns
* Work on Hydraulic systems
* Perform basic automotive electrical works
ABOUT YOU
* Highly established attention to Safe work practices
* Australian‐recognised Trade Certificate with post‐trade experience
* Experience with Light and Heavy plant and equipment, hydraulic systems, and basic automotive electrical skills
* Demonstrated problem‐solving skills
* Ability to document and maintain traceability on all works undertaken
* Experience working with and maintaining the following types of equipment
* Diesel EWP'S up to 135ft
* Telehandlers
* Buses
* Tilt Tray's
* Excavator
* Skid Steer Loader
* Scissor Lifts
* Light Trucks
* Light Vehicles
* Generators up to 132KVA
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE
* Trade Certification / AQF Cert Level 3 Mechanical
* High‐risk work License (with WP class) (desirable)
* Current Unrestricted Driver's License
* White / Blue Construction Card
