We’re currently seeking an Asset Inspector to join a council infrastructure team, focused on maintaining accurate and up-to-date data on civil assets across the region. This role is well suited to someone with a strong eye for detail, solid technical skills, and the ability to work independently in the field. Key Responsibilities Inspect and document the condition of council and utility assets Capture and update asset data using GPS-based technology and asset systems Support the maintenance of the Asset Management System with accurate data Liaise professionally with stakeholders, internal teams, and the public Escalate any immediate safety risks identified during inspections What You’ll Need Experience using GPS-based data collection tools and spatial systems (e.g., MapInfo) Competency with data entry, record keeping, and digital systems A current Class C driver’s licence Working knowledge of WHS principles and safe work practices Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively What’s on Offer Short-term contract within local government Contribute to the ongoing management of public infrastructure Supportive team environment with access to training and development Mix of office and field-based work If you have a background in asset inspections or spatial data collection and are looking for a new opportunity, we encourage you to apply via the link provided or email inna.sidorova@randstad.com.au for more information.
