The Role
Reporting to the CEO, the Human Resources Manager will play a key role in providing strategic and operational HR leadership across the organisation. This role is suited to a confident and pragmatic HR professional with strong experience in the NDIS environment and award interpretation.
Key responsibilities include:
* Partnering with the CEO and senior leaders to deliver HR initiatives that align with organisational strategy.
* Leading compliance and interpretation of the SCHADS Award, NDIS requirements, and relevant employment legislation.
* Developing, implementing, and maintaining HR policies, procedures, and systems to support engagement, retention, and operational stability.
* Leading complex investigations, managing performance and disciplinary processes, and building manager capability to strengthen accountability and workplace culture.
* Using HR data and reporting to support informed decision-making and optimise HR systems.
* Overseeing workforce wellbeing initiatives, including WorkCover and return-to-work programs.
About You
You are a confident and experienced HR generalist who can translate complex legislation into practical advice and support leaders to achieve positive people outcomes.
Essential Requirements
* Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or equivalent experience.
* Strong generalist HR experience, including ER/IR, award interpretation, and HR systems.
* Demonstrated experience within the NDIS or disability sector.
* Solid working knowledge of the SCHADS Award.
* Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership capability.
