2026 Perioperative Introduction Program; Graduate/Experienced (Registered Nurse)
We have an excellent opportunity to join St Vincent’s Private Hospital Toowoomba (SVPHT) as a Registered Nurse within our Perioperative Department. Open to new graduates or to experienced RNs looking to diversify your career into a specialty area.
- 60hrs/fortnight (0.8FTE) permanent position
- Rostering includes public holidays, weekends, and rotating shifts
- Program delivered February to December 2026, commencing Monday 2nd February 2026

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
- Comprehensive orientation and onboarding program which includes:
- Perioperative Introduction Program (PIP) Foundational program study days
- Supported supernumerary plan for skill development
- Ongoing support from Clinical Nurse Educators and mentors
- Online self-directed learning modules submitted weekly
- Competency and clinical skills assessments
- Opportunity to pursue subsidised speciality postgraduate education at the end of the program through our partner university
Information Session:
An Information Session about the Graduate & Introduction Programs offered at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Toowoomba will be held between 1530 - 1630hrs on Tuesday 9th September 2025 in the ACU Room within the Clinical School, L2 (Entrance 4).
During this session, the Staff Learning & Development Manager and Clinical Nurse Educators responsible for the different programs will be available to discuss the content of the programs as well as answer any questions you may have.

- Available to start the program Monday 2nd February 2026
CV APHRA Registration certificate or indication of eligibility for registration as a Registered nurse with the Nurses and Midwives board (AHPRA) before Monday 2nd February 2026. Eligibility to work in Australia with VISA evidence supplied Certified copy of current drivers' licence or passport Academic transcript from university
