Looking for Guidewire Specialist Solution Architects for a major program of work. These are 6 month rolling day rate contract positions.
You will act as the architecture and design authority for Guidewire-based initiatives, embedded within delivery teams and providing hands-on guidance throughout the full delivery lifecycle.
The role balances strategic architecture thinking with pragmatic, delivery-focused execution, ensuring solutions meet both immediate business needs and long-term platform goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead solution architecture and design for Guidewire implementations and enhancements
* Define and govern end-to-end architectures across Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter and associated digital channels
* Ensure Guidewire solutions align with enterprise architecture standards, cloud strategy, and security requirements
* Enable delivery teams to build secure, scalable, and performant insurance solutions
* Drive architectural consistency across Guidewire programs and initiatives
* Reduce technical debt while enabling continuous platform evolution
* Provide architecture assurance throughout design, build, test, and deployment phases
* Communicate architecture decisions, trade-offs, risks, and impacts clearly to technical and business stakeholders
Guidewire-Specific Accountabilities
* Own and guide solution designs across:
* Policy administration
* Claims management
* Billing and payments
* Integrations and digital experiences
* Design and govern Guidewire integrations with:
* Digital front ends
* Data platforms and analytics
* Finance, CRM, and external partner systems
* Define migration and modernisation paths (on-prem to cloud, upgrades, and platform evolution)
* Apply Guidewire best practices including product model design, extension strategy, and configuration vs customisation decisions
* Ensure solutions adhere to Guidewire Cloud Platform (GWCP) principles where applicable
* Guide vendors and delivery partners on architecture standards and design expectations
