We are looking for an experienced Technical Writer / Scriptwriter with a strong knowledge of Health, Safety & Wellbeing (HSW) and Construction Safety to create clear, accurate, and engaging written content. This role focuses on translating complex safety regulations, procedures, and technical information into accessible documentation and scripted content for training, compliance, and communications.

Key Responsibilities
* Write, edit, and maintain HSW and construction safety documentation
* Develop scripts for safety training videos, inductions, and toolbox talks
* Translate legislation, standards, and risk assessments into clear guidance
* Ensure all content aligns with UK H&S regulations and industry best practice
* Collaborate with subject matter experts to validate technical accuracy
* Adapt tone and complexity for different audiences (site operatives, management, clients)
* Maintain version control and document governance standards
Candidate Profile
Essential Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as a Technical Writer, Scriptwriter, or Safety Content Specialist
* Strong background in Health, Safety & Wellbeing (HSW)
* Demonstrable experience in Construction Safety environments
* Excellent written English with the ability to simplify complex information
* Knowledge of UK H&S legislation, guidance, and compliance frameworks
* Experience writing training materials, procedures, or scripted content
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Desirable Skills & Experience
* NEBOSH, IOSH, or similar H&S qualification
* Experience creating content for digital learning or video production
* Familiarity with construction methods, site operations, and risk controls
* Experience working with designers, videographers, or e-learning teams
