Due to increased demand, Hydramech have positions for full time trade qualified machinists/Fitters in our West Kalgoorlie workshop.
The Role:
Hydramech service and repair hydraulic cylinders & components for underground mining machinery. We have a variety of in-house processes including fitting, manual lathes, borers, milling, and CNC machining. We embrace technology and use quality tooling.
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following tasks:
* Machining tasks associated with the overhaul of hydraulic cylinders.
* Thread turning, rod manufacture, retube and general machining tasks.
* Measure, inspect and report on components.
* Attend and participate in toolbox talks
* Ensuring a safe and tidy workspace is maintained.
* Participate in a well-planned workshop environment.
Essential Criteria to be considered for the positions:
* A Recognised Trade Certificate or other relevant trade qualification.
* Demonstrated experience with fitting & machining in a workshop environment.
* Current WA drivers licence.
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and a drug and alcohol test.

These positions are residential to Kalgoorlie and no fly in / fly out is offered.

Pay: $45.00 – $68.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38 – 52 per week
