Buderim OSHC (Outside School Hours Care) is a P&C operated service, located in the heart of Buderim (within Buderim Mtn. State School). The high quality OSHC service focuses on community, leadership, and social/emotional learning for up to 200 children/families. Key Responsibilities:
· Health & Safety – ensuring the children's health and safety at all times is paramount
· Relationships – building and maintain positive relationships with children and families
· Documentation – all educators are required to complete observations, evaluations and reflections.
· Programming – with the assistance of our Educational Leader, educators are to assist in the planning and implementation of a dynamic program.
· Staff Relationships – all educators are required to build positive and professional relationships with their fellow employees.
Qualifications:
· Working with Children Card/Blue Card (or able to obtain)
· Hold or studying (or willing to study) a minimum of a Certificate III in an area of study relevant to working with children (recognised by ACECQA)
Other Information:
· Flexibility required as shifts vary across Monday to Friday
· Availability for Before School Care is 6am – 9.00am and for After School Care is 2.00pm – 6.00pm
· Approximately 10 – 30 hours per week depending on availability (Casual & Permanent Educator Positions available). Hours can be negotiated
· Remuneration as per current P&C award
· An annual retention bonus
· It is preferred that you will have your own transport
