Job Description

We're on the lookout for a passionate and driven Test Analyst to join our dynamic and growing IT team at AFCA. This is your chance to make a real impact, playing a key role in shaping the future of our core Microsoft D365 platforms.

In this hands on and high impact role, you'll dive into testing across a suite of cutting-edge technologies including Dynamics 365 CRM, Power Portals, Dynamics 365 Finance, and bespoke in-house solutions. If you're ready to roll up your sleeves and be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking environment, this is the opportunity for you. This position is a 12 month fixed term contract.

Typically, In This Role You Will

Perform manual testing activities, including functional, regression, integration, and system testing.Assist with the introduction of automation testing – tool configuration, test scripts, monitoring and reportingDesign, develop, and execute comprehensive test cases, test plans, and test scripts.Conduct testing across various platforms, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, Dynamics 365 CE, and web portals.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify and document software defects and issues.Participate in test planning and provide valuable insights to improve the overall testing process.Implement and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices.Continuous Improvement & Automation - on-going improvement of testing activities, identify areas for improvement, champion a focus on high quality outcomes.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Proven experience as a Test AnalystClear understanding of Agile practices, test design, execution & reportingDemonstrated ability to build effective test cases, test plans, and test scripts.Experience with CI/CD practices and tools – Azure DevOps preferredExperience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE & FinOps highly desiredA meticulous eye for detail.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
