Process Engineer - Drinking Water. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Process Engineer to join a leading Australian company specialising in water and wastewater treatment, with a hybrid role based in Ipswich.
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Process Engineer to join a dynamic team dedicated to delivering world-class solutions. You'll play a vital part in designing and delivering treatment plants that make a real difference to communities and industries.

Responsibilities
- Providing engineering support and design input for proposals, focusing on water and wastewater assets.
- Performing process and hydraulic design for treatment equipment and processes.
- Conducting process engineering analysis to optimise plant operations for safety, quality, and cost.
- Providing quality assurance and design sign-off during the construction and commissioning phases, including performance testing.
- Reviewing final plant designs to undertake optimisation.
- Performing risk assessments and actively participating in safety reviews and HAZOPs.
- Assisting in building client relationships to positively impact business growth.
What do you need?
- Tertiary qualifications in either chemical or process engineering.
- A minimum of 5 years of Australian process design engineering experience, ideally in the water industry.
- Ideally, you will be a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) or actively working towards it.
- The ability to travel for commissioning assistance at remote sites.
- Previous experience with water treatment projects and Australian Drinking Water Guidelines (ADWG) would be highly regarded.
