This work usually assists clients in addressing matters relating to commercial, financial reporting, tax, regulatory matters or strategy.Your key responsibilities:Work within small project teams to undertake valuations of businesses and intangible assets.
Your work will be for various purposes including management planning, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), tax, financial reporting and disputes.Take ownership for delivery of projects within each team.
You will be the key person responsible for managing and preparation of valuation reports and detailed financial modelling and analysis.Think critically, identify issues and propose strategies related to the advice being provided.Maintain positive, productive, and professional relationships with client personnel and colleaguesWhat we look forExtensive experience in valuation within the Financial Services sectorA degree in finance, economics, accounting or business, with demonstrated aptitude in quantitative and qualitative analysisPossessing a CFA credential or actively pursuing oneDirect experience utilising various valuation techniques and methodologies (market comparables, discounted cash flow, etc) for different purposesExperience in financial modelling in MS Excel and related software preferredExperience conducting valuations for accounting and or tax planning purposes is desiredExcellent analytical, communication, organisational, interpersonal, and teaming skillsIdeally, you'll also have the skills and attributes below but don't worry if you don't tick all the boxes.
