This role is based in the Fire Electrical installation and service industry and your main duties will involve:
* Installation of all types of fire alarm and evacuation systems to relevant Australian Standards
* Servicing, carrying out repairs and fault finding on all types of fire alarm and evacuation systems as per Australian Standards
* Installation, testing, maintenance and repairs of emergency lights as per AS2293
Experience in the Fire Industry is an advantage, further training in all aspects of the fire industry will be provided. We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate through their prior work history that they are reliable, motivated & keen to expand their knowledge and continue learning, together with the following:
* Ability to work well unsupervised, take the lead and or work in a team environment
* Ability to read specifications, drawings and standards and apply on the job
* Good level of physical fitness to be able to perform the required job tasks
* Good written and verbal communication skills
* Good time management and organisational skills
* Current drivers licence with ability to drive a manual vehicle
* Demonstrated commitment to quality and safe work practices
* Electrical Licence prefered but training will be provided
