Role Description
We are seeking an Event Coordinator to join our on-site team in Sydney, NSW. The Event Coordinator will manage the planning and execution of events, including liaising with clients to understand their needs, coordinating logistics, and ensuring all events run seamlessly. Responsibilities include handling bookings, negotiating with vendors, managing budgets, and ensuring outstanding customer satisfaction. The role requires close collaboration with various internal teams to create memorable experiences that align with the style and standard of the Harbour View Hotel.
Qualifications
* Expertise in Event Planning and Event Management to organize and oversee events of varying sizes.
* Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to connect effectively with clients and ensure an exceptional guest experience.
* Experience in Sales to promote the hotel's event offerings and secure event bookings.
* Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple events and priorities concurrently.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle unforeseen challenges during events.
* Proficiency in event management software and tools is an advantage.
* Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
* Previous experience in hospitality and be able to jump on the bar or floor whenever required
* Experience in event coordination is highly desirable.
