We are seeking an experienced female support worker to assist clients living with schizophrenia. The ideal candidate will have:
* Proven experience supporting individuals with mental health conditions, particularly schizophrenia
* Strong understanding of person-centred care and recovery-focused approaches
* Excellent communication and de-escalation skills
* Patience, empathy, and reliability
* Relevant qualifications (e.g. Certificate III/IV in Individual Support, Mental Health, or equivalent)
* Current checks (Working With Children Check, Police Check, First Aid – if required)
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing daily living support and emotional assistance
* Encouraging independence and community participation
* Monitoring wellbeing and reporting any changes
* Supporting clients in line with care plans
Pay: $24.95 – $35.15 per hour
