Our Journey
Monash Health High Risk Foot Service provides best practice inpatient and outpatient care for patients with diabetes and complex limb threatening complications. The aim of the service is to provide evidence based, best practice care to patients with complex diabetes related (and other high risk) foot complications with a focus on reducing hospital admissions, minimising length of stay and reducing the rates of major amputation. The service in jointly run by Podiatry, Vascular (including Interventional Radiology), Diabetes with input from Infectious Diseases and Orthopaedics.
In 2020, Monash Health was awarded with a National Association Diabetes Centres High Risk Foot Service Centre of Excellence.
The Podiatry service at Monash Health is an integral part of the wider interdisciplinary team and works across all Monash Health sites.

A Day in the Life
We are seeking an enthusiastic Podiatrist to work in a Grade 2 capacity in our High Risk Foot Service providing care to outpatients as well as acute and subacute inpatients. Working with a diverse range of clients, no two days will be the same. You will work alongside our talented and supportive Podiatrists as well as the wider interdisciplinary team. What an exciting opportunity to expand your skills!
This role could also afford aspiring Grade 1 Podiatrists to transition to Grade 2. We will offer you all the guidance, support and training you need to progress. You will:

What you need:
7. Bachelor of Podiatry or equivalent.
8. Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
