The Sales Engineer/Technical Sales Representative will be responsible for:
* Managing and growing a customer base for assigned product range and territories
* Prospecting sales visits and establishing customer relationships through regular follow-ups
* Preparing and delivering commercial and technical proposals or quotations according to customer requirements
* Conducting pre-sales preparation, sales presentations, and after-sales service
* Gathering market information, ensuring meeting pre-determined targets, and formulating execution of market growth strategies for tasked segments and territories
* Collaborating with other departments/regional offices to maximize growth and orders
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
* University degree within electronics/engineering or trade qualifications and relevant experience
* 2+ years of sales experience in power generation, energy management, automation control, or switchboard industries is advantageous
* Self-motivated, independent, and sales driven to develop and increase revenue
* Strong learning curves in upgrading technical knowledge
* Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
* Flexibility to respond to changing business needs
* Regional traveling is required
* Good oral and written communication skills in English
* Current Australian driver's license
* Right to work in Australia
