Who We're Looking For
* Nurse with experience and/or further study, moving from competent to proficient level
* Prepared to accept accountability for your practice standards and guide less experienced staff
* Capable of supporting Nurse Unit Manager in ward/service leadership and management responsibilities
How You Will Contribute
* Provide proficient, person‐centred clinical nursing/midwifery care and oversee care within a defined clinical area.
* Support the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager in leadership, practice changes and ward/unit/service management responsibilities.
* Promote continuity and consistency of care, coordinate services and resolve local service delivery issues.
* Participate in clinical teaching, research, auditing and support the development of less experienced staff.

Essential Requirements
* Must be immunised; follow occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy.
* Must undergo employment screening.
* Must be registered or eligible for registration as a nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold a current practising certificate.
