Skillinvest has an opportunity for a motivated candidate to undertake an Engineering Fabrication Apprenticeship with a leading steel fabrication business located in Carrum Downs.The successful applicant will study a 'Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication Mechanical Trade' whilst gaining valuable on the job experience.
Duties Include:
* Measuring, drilling, and cutting steel into varied sizes.
* Mig and Tig welding
* Operating varied types of machinery
* Widespread use of hand-tools
* Other fabrication duties as directed.
Requirements:
* Willingness to commit to work and study.
* Initiative, proactivity, and a responsible attitude.
* Current driver's licence and reliable transport
* On the odd occasion be able to work on site
