Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay rangeA$110,000.00/yr - A$130,000.00/yrThe Business Editor leads the publishing program for the Institute of Public Accountants (IPA) in AU, and the Institute of Financial Accountants (IFA) in the UK.In this role, these five things matter most:You’re a big-picture thinker. You know how to take a client’s strategic objectives and turn them into an actionable plan that gets results. You’re not afraid to suggest new ways of thinking or doing to achieve those objectives.You know business and finance. You are familiar with finance, economics, management, and related areas such as small business and entrepreneurship, and can spot an interesting story. You know how to tell this story in an engaging and intelligent way, driving engagement with IPA’s and IFA’s target audiences.You don’t just think in words. While the majority of stories are written articles, you can also hatch creative ideas for visual executions.You know what excellence looks like. You are a sharp judge of quality – of ideas, of content, of plans. You are able to zoom in on the detail when necessary to ensure all the work we do is of a relentlessly high standard.You create great relationships that build business. You know what fabulous client service looks like and how to understand the world from your client’s perspective. You build trust, earn respect and engender confidence with our clients by being able to skilfully anticipate their needs and execute our plans.Main duties and responsibilitiesWorking closely with Mahlab's Publishing Director, Editorial Director and the broader team, the Business Editor’s key responsibilities include:Leading the overall execution of the publishing programs with your clients, ensuring on-time and on-budget deliveryFostering a deep understanding of your clients’ organisations and the industries in which they operate, translating strategic objectives into engaging and intelligent storiesBuilding and strengthening relationships with a broad cross-section of senior stakeholders within our client’s organisations, as well as with key industry stakeholdersEnsuring thorough and efficient integration between all channels.
