Role Purpose:
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated travel professional with a minimum of 2 years of travel industry experience who wants to grow into a strong sales and relationship focused career within itravel.
The Inside Sales Executive will assist with sales support, member engagement and network activities while learning the foundations needed to grow into a future key Sales Executive within the business.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Support & Network Engagement
* Support the National BDM with network wide sales follow ups, engagement calls and check-ins. Learn to proactively build and maintain strong relationships within the itravel membership group
* Assist in driving usage of itravel systems, campaigns and booking platforms to assist in driving sales performance
* Support itravel promotional campaigns with pre/post-calls as directed
HQ & Platform Support
* Support weekly monitoring of HQ by itravel, identifying leakage, non -users and low usage members
* Conduct follow-ups to help improve member booking activity and HQ platform adoption and processes
Network Activities
* Participate in small group supplier meetings in key regions with itravel members
* Attend supplier functions and events to represent itravel (occasional evenings)
* Support itravel wholesale/DMC follow ups to strengthen conversion within itravel
* Support Virtuoso related requirements including profile setup and training follow up.
New Member Acquisition Activities (Development Focus)
* Learn itravel Business Model Framework
* Develop understanding of Sales Funnel Awareness & Support
* Support early qualification calls
Events & Conferences
* Assist with itravel events, conferences, and network days including follow-ups and member engagement before and after events.
Onboarding & Training
* Support onboarding of new members by assisting with training on itravel systems and processes
* Provide general administrative sales support across the itravel network

* Strong people skills with a natural ability to build rapport and support others
* A willingness to learn and grow into a senior sales relationship role over time
* Good understanding of travel suppliers, wholesalers and booking platforms
* Organised, reliable team player capable of managing follow ups and tasks independently
* Excellent communication (verbal and written) and professional presentation skills.
* Positive attitude, proactive mindset and willingness to take initiative
Experience & Qualifications
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a customer facing travel role (retail, wholesale, reservations)
* Experience working with industry suppliers, wholesalers, cruise or luxury travel preferred.
* An understanding of travel systems, booking platforms, and supplier structures (Virtuoso experience an advantage not essential).
* An ability to execute follow-ups, develop relationships with agents and/or industry partners
* Keen interest in building a career in sales and business development
