As a member of the Catering and Housekeeping team at Our Lady of Loretto Gardens, you will be providing high quality assistance to our residents.
About the Role:
- Work as part of a team to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and presentation in our residents rooms
- Providing resident meal service including assisting with meal preparation, providing a quality dining service and assisting residents as required
- Supporting your peers and maintaining a co operative team spirit
- Working in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents, closely following all policies and procedures
To be successful in this role you'll need
- A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
- Previous experience working as a cleaner and catering assistant ideally within an Aged Care environment
- Warm and empathetic interpersonal skills with experience interacting with a wide range of people
- Ability to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and their families
- A reliable team player
- Ability to read, write and communicate effectively
- Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance
