The Incentive Lab is seeking a seasoned, all-round Event Manager to join our award-winning team in this full-time hybrid position.
The role is ideal for someone ready to hit the ground running, who loves owning events end-to-end, partnering closely with clients, and delivering exceptional incentive, meeting and conference experiences.
About Your Role
Oversee the end-to-end delivery of conferences, meetings and incentive programs, from initial brief through to post-event reconciliation
Create detailed proposals, budgets and event documentation including run sheets, timelines and comms
Manage event budgets, forecasts, profitability, client invoicing, supplier payments and post-event payments
Build and maintain trusted client relationships by understanding objectives and providing strategic, creative solutions
Manage communications, registrations, and reporting via EventsAir
Identify opportunities to enhance programs and add value for clients
Support new business proposals and sales opportunities
Work collaboratively with Event Directors, Event Coordinators and Operations teams
Assist with administration across multiple event inboxes and projects
About You
Minimum of 3 years' experience working within an Event Agency environment (or equivalent exposure) is essential
Current resident of Melbourne with good knowledge of the city's venues
Confidence to take ownership of the role from the outset and achieve great results autonomously
Proven experience managing events both domestically and internationally
Calm and solutions-focused approach in high-pressure live-event environments
Intermediate level proficiency in EventsAIR with 3 years' hands-on experience
Experience creating EDM communications
Strong budgeting and financial acumen with supplier negotiation skills
Keen attention to detail with meticulous organisational skills
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
A creative eye and passion for delivering standout experiences
Additional Information
Full-time position
Hybrid working arrangement (3 days office / 2 days WFH)
Domestic and occasional international travel required (approx. 6–10 trips per year)
