The Role
This is a senior project architect and team leadership role. You will take the lead on projects from concept through to delivery, act as the primary point of contact for clients and consultants, and play a key role in guiding and mentoring the studio team. You will work closely with the Darwin Studio Leader and the DesignInc national network.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead projects across all phases from briefing, design and documentation through to construction administration
* Act as primary client and consultant contact, building and maintaining strong professional relationships
* Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, including internal staff and external consultants
* Mentor and develop more junior team members within the studio
* Produce and oversee high‐quality documentation using Revit
* Contribute to project pursuits and business development as required
* Maintain a strong understanding of the NCC, relevant NT regulations and building codes
About You
* 10+ years architectural experience, with a strong track record delivering projects end to end
* Registered Architect
* Experience leading project teams and managing consultants and builders
* Strong Revit proficiency and experience producing and managing documentation
* Broad sector experience – Defence, Health, Education, Community or Commercial highly regarded
* Experience working on projects in the NT or remote/tropical environments is an advantage
* Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, people‐first approach
* Commercially minded and able to manage project programmes, budgets and scope
