The Primary Specialist Teacher – STEM position at Launceston Christian School is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students. As a practicing Christian, you will be responsible for bringing a Christian perspective to bear in all aspects of your work.
This part-time position (0.567 FTE) requires a highly skilled and dedicated individual who can design learning sequences that interest, motivate, and extend all students. The successful candidate will establish and maintain a supportive and safe classroom learning community, making learning accessible and inclusive for different learning styles and abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and teach from a Biblical worldview
* Support the spiritual and emotional growth of each student
* Design learning sequences that cater to diverse needs and interests
* Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and achievement
Requirements:
* Be a practicing Christian with a strong commitment to their faith
* Hold registration with the Tasmanian Teachers Registration Board
* Possess a current Working with Vulnerable People (Employment) Card
