CAMHS Connect Clinician - RN2 Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) as a CAMHS Clinician on a full-time basis in a temporary capacity until 26 December 2025.

The Women's & Children's Health Network is South Australia's leading provider of healthcare for women, babies, children, and young people. Our services include specialist care for children with acute and chronic conditions, state-of-the-art maternity and obstetric services, community-based services reaching thousands of families across SA, and specialist programs including Mental Health, Child & Family Health, Youth, and Aboriginal Health services.


Key Responsibilities

* Providing Clinical Expertise: Provide clinical expertise for children, adolescents, and their families with mental health issues.
* Mental Health Assessments: Conduct complex mental health assessments and therapeutic interventions with children and adolescents.
* Care Planning: Collaborate with consumers in developing individual care/treatment plans using a recovery framework.
* Equity and Access: Promote access and equity of services for people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.


Requirements

* Nursing Registration: Registration as a Nurse by the Nursing/Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) with a current practicing certificate.
* Mental Health Experience: At least 3 years of full-time equivalent post-registration experience as a Registered Nurse.
* Skills and Qualifications: Enrolled in an approved mental health course or holding a mental health qualification, skills in problem solving, negotiation, conflict management, and working reflectively under pressure.
