Tractor Operators – Broadacre Cropping | Dongara Region, WA
Our client is a leading Australian agribusiness operating large-scale mixed cropping farms across multiple states. Their primary focus is the production of wheat, barley and canola using modern equipment and precision farming systems.
The Role
We are currently seeking experienced Tractor and Machinery Operators to join the team for the upcoming seeding program based near Dongara, Western Australia (north of Perth). These positions suit operators with solid broadacre cropping or row‐crop farming experience who are confident working with modern GPS‐guided machinery in a large‐scale farming environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Operating air seeders
* Variable rate spreaders
* Tractor and rolling operations (40ft rollers)
* Self‐propelled boom sprayers
* Post‐season cleaning and maintenance of seeding equipment
* General farm duties including machinery servicing, property maintenance and light earthworks
Requirements
* Previous experience operating machinery in a broadacre cropping environment
* Familiarity with GPS guidance systems and precision agriculture equipment
* Mechanical aptitude and the ability to carry out routine servicing and maintenance
* A strong work ethic and ability to work within a team during busy seasonal operations
