Capital Works Project Manager (Adelaide )

* $64-$66/hour + super (casual hourly rate)
* This will be a full time hours / in-office opportunity (not available for part time as the client requires full time availability)
We are seeking an experienced Capital Works Project Manager to lead the delivery of interesting and important capital works and construction projects for South Australia across a diverse portfolio.
About the Role
This position is responsible for managing complex and sensitive negotiations to ensure the timely delivery of projects aligned to organisational priorities and evolving legislative, financial, technological and operational requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading high-level analysis and research to support project funding submissions and approvals.
* Developing, implementing and overseeing project administration, monitoring and reporting frameworks to support minor to medium-scale capital works and construction programs.
* Coordinating consultation and liaison with senior leaders, site managers, project teams, external stakeholders and clients to ensure successful project outcomes.
* Representing client and end-user interests throughout design, procurement and delivery phases.
* Providing expert advice on project management processes, progress and performance within delegated authority.
* Preparing detailed reports, briefings and planning documentation on complex project matters.
* Maintaining and presenting policy and operational documentation relevant to capital works and procurement activities.
* Promoting and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment, including proactive incident and hazard reporting.
About You
You must have a current Police and Working with Children Clearance and be based in Adelaide.
You have recently worked in a role delivering capital and construction works in the commercial or government sector and are ready and able to begin a new role within a week.
This is a temporary opportunity through Edge Recruitment, so you need to be aware that this is not a permanent role and will require someone who has the clearances advised above and able to 'hit the ground running'
You are a highly capable project management professional with demonstrated experience delivering facilities planning and construction projects in complex environments.
