We have a part-time role (50 hours per fortnight) for a skilled and bachelor‐qualified teacher to join our integrated program at our Horsham Uniting Kindergarten.
You will oversee service operations to maintain compliance and quality and to provide leadership to a passionate and professional team to ensure the provision of quality early childhood programs.
You will also ensure we provide an environment that reflects a safe, inclusive, responsive and supportive program where the interests and needs of children are the foundation for creating the educational programs.
Strong leadership, knowledge of contemporary early childhood practice, provision of high‐quality programs, and continuous quality improvement are hallmarks of this position.
About you
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have:
* A Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Teaching (or equivalent as approved by the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority – ACECQA) – essential.
* First aid training as prescribed in the Education and Care Services National Regulations, including first aid, anaphylaxis management and emergency asthma management.
* Extensive experience in a Kindergarten and/or other early childhood service providing high quality care and education services for children.
* Extensive experience in a leadership role in a Kindergarten and/other early childhood setting.
* A sound knowledge and understanding of early childhood learning and development.
