About the opportunity
As the Senior Instructional Designer, you'll partner closely with business leaders, clinical governance, and operations to design learning solutions that solve real problems - while maintaining strong governance, compliance, and measurable outcomes. This is a hands-on role where you'll lead learning design strategy, coordinate day-to-day instructional design operations, mentor designers, and champion innovation across digital, immersive, and AI-enabled learning.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide coaching, mentoring, and workload prioritisation
* Partner with business and clinical stakeholders to design practical, high-impact learning solutions
* Analyse capability needs and translate complex requirements into effective learning programs
* Drive innovation through modern digital tools, immersive learning, and AI-enabled solutions
* Ensure learning aligns with governance, clinical auditing standards, and regulatory requirements
* Maintain capability frameworks, assessments, and LMS configurations to support compliance
* Monitor learning effectiveness using data and evaluation to drive continuous improvement
What we're looking for
* 8+ years' experience as an Instructional Designer, with a strong portfolio of practical, high-impact learning solutions
* Experience in a senior or lead instructional design role, including mentoring others
* Advanced capability with tools such as Articulate 360, Camtasia, Vyond, and modern digital platforms
* Strong project management, prioritisation, and problem-solving skills
* Experience or strong interest in emerging learning technologies (AI, adaptive or immersive learning)
