Our Opportunity
We are on the lookout for a talented Works Coordinator who will be based at our Maroochydore site to fill a pivotal role in ensuring the effective planning and scheduling the delivery of works, reporting to the Operations Manager.
In this critical role you will be:
Accountable for the planning and directing of operational activities, which includes leading your people with the required equipment to satisfy client needs with a safety first culture and quality delivery focus.
Manage works completed including ensuring that your teams work is correctly reflected for accurate billing and co ordination.
Providing excellent internal and external customer service whilst demonstrating strong leadership at a depot level.
Ensure compliance to client site requirements including regulations.
Communicate work requirements, plans, and timelines to all staff.
The essential skills needed to succeed in this role include:
Possess strong organisational, and time management skills with the ability to juggle several tasks at once, with proven experience in a similar role in a service based role.
Have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the organisation including Operators through to Management,
Well-developed computer, written and oral communication skills will be essential in this role.
Previous experience within a planning role or transport allocation or waste or water sector is highly desirable.
This role will predominantly be Monday to Friday although from time to time contact may be made on weekends, flexibility will be key.
