Role Overview
We're seeking a strategic and delivery-focused SAP Project Manager to lead end-to-end SAP transformation initiative. You'll drive stakeholder alignment, manage hybrid delivery teams (onshore/offshore), and ensure seamless integration with cloud environments. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex, compliance-driven landscapes and can translate business outcomes into structured execution.
Key Responsibilities
* Project Leadership: Own the full lifecycle of SAP projects—scoping, planning, execution, and closure—across ECC, S/4HANA, and SAP BTP environments.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Build trust with business and IT stakeholders, facilitating workshops, steering committees, and executive updates.
* Delivery Management: Lead cross-functional teams (internal, client, vendor), ensuring milestones, budgets, and quality targets are met.
* Cloud Integration: Oversee SAP workloads on cloud (AWS, Azure preferred), coordinating with cloud architects and ensuring compliance with security and data governance standards.
* Risk & Compliance: Manage risks proactively, ensuring audit-readiness and alignment with ISO, IRAP, or industry-specific frameworks.
* Vendor Coordination: Navigate multi-vendor landscapes, driving accountability and performance across SI partners, offshore teams, and product vendors.
* Reporting & Governance: Maintain transparent reporting structures, RAID logs, and program dashboards for internal and client visibility.
Required Skills & Experience
* 7+ years of SAP project management experience, including ECC and S/4HANA
* Proven track record in Manufacturing/Retail/ Mining/ Healthcare industries
* Strong understanding of SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PM, SuccessFactors, Ariba etc.)
* Experience with Azure/ AWS-hosted SAP environments and cloud migration strategies
* Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models
* Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills
* PMP, PRINCE2, or SAP Activate certification preferred
Bonus Attributes
* Experience with GenAI use cases in SAP (e.g., intelligent document processing, chatbots)
* Exposure to SAP BTP, Fiori, and integration platforms (PI/PO, CPI)
* Ability to design and lead diagnostic workshops
* Passion for outcome-driven consulting and reusable IP development
