Baby Bunting is seeking a dynamic Buyer to lead the car safety category – managing Car Seats and Accessories – within our high-performing Travel category. This is a newly created role offering the opportunity to shape the future of one of our most critical categories. There's never been a more exciting time to join the business. Your Impact: * Own the buying strategy for car seats and accessories, driving profitable growth and market leadership. * Build and nurture supplier relationships, negotiating the best mix of product, price and terms. * Analyse performance, trends, and customer insights to deliver compelling, compliant ranges. * Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, planning, digital, and store teams to create seamless customer experiences. * Champion product safety and regulatory compliance in partnership with QA & Product Compliance. * Lead weekly supplier meetings and contribute to promotional planning and execution. What You'll Bring: * 5+ years in retail buying, merchandising or category management. * Strong commercial acumen, analytical mindset, and negotiation skills. * Experience with technical or hard good high-value categories (nursery, baby gear, or similar preferred) * Confidence to provide constructive feedback to suppliers and drive product improvement. * Familiarity with product safety standards and marketing compliance. * Bachelor's degree in business, merchandising, or related field.
