Remuneration: $135,826.04 - $138,534.10 pa (+ superannuation + salary packaging options) + NSW Health – Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme (conditions apply – to find out more, visit Western NSW LHD Incentives)

Hours Per Week: 38

Clinical Nurse Consultant – Drug & Alcohol

Role overviewThe Dubbo Drug & Alcohol team are seeking a Clinical Nurse Consultant to join their team. Working Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5pm, you will join a professional, client focused team dedicated to patient care. The CNC position will actively work with the Psychosocial team, Drug Court/MERIT, SUPPPs, Youth Program, and OTP programs, providing clinical review, treatment plan feedback, withdrawal management, and support for complex clients. The role also involves collaborating with the Addiction Medicine Specialist and GPs to assist in implementing treatment plans.

Key responsibilities• Complete assessments, develop treatment plans, and produce report writing.• Provide clinical review and treatment plan feedback.• Manage withdrawal management and support complex clients.• Liaise with service partners, General Practitioners, and other health care providers to schedule follow‐up appointments and collate reports.• Collaborate with the Psychosocial team, Drug Court/MERIT, SUPPPs, Youth Program, OTP programs, Addiction Medicine Specialist, and GPs.

Qualifications & Skills• Case management and counselling skills.• Knowledge of trauma informed care, cultural competence, and active listening skills.• Strong communication and collaboration skills.• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Support & DevelopmentYou will be well supported with an Orientation mentor and effective performance reviews to identify and plan for additional training opportunities.
