Urbis has multiple exciting opportunities for motivated Landscape Architects to join our Design team in Melbourne.

We're looking for passionate and driven individuals with a strong interest in shaping cities, landscapes and communities. While backgrounds and interests may vary, a genuine enthusiasm for landscape and design is essential. Most importantly, strong Revit capability is critical, along with confidence in 3D design and visualisation tools.

You will:

* Participate and collaborate in creative landscape and public realm design; and deliver input into multiple projects from concept stage through to design development, documentation and on the ground delivery.
* Work across a wide range of project types from, inner city urban regeneration, transport and infrastructure, retail, open space parklands, waterfronts, commercial and greenfield developments, and town centres.
* Work across multiple projects and deadlines and manage project involvement under the guidance of the Directors, Associate Directors, Senior Designers and Project Managers.
* Bring an understanding of design principles and methods and the ability to apply them in the urban environment.
* Bring passion for design thinking and innovations across a range of scales.
* Problem solve and develop objective and informed insights to aid the design process.
* Utilise excellent verbal and written communication skills in preparing visual aids/drawings, report preparation, preparation of meeting notes, correspondence etc.
* Visually and creatively communicate key design ideas and outcomes in clear and succinct way across a range of methods and platforms including a mix of advanced skills in Revit, freehand drawing, the Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD.
* Creatively employ AI and other methods of technical skills to create new ways of working and tackling projects.
* Work alongside other professionals on a range of multi-disciplinary projects, in relation to client briefs, deadlines and budgets towards a suitable commercial outcome

About You:

* Tertiary qualifications in Landscape Architecture at a graduate or post graduate level; or related fields
* Minimum 1+ years relevant experience, ideally gained in a private practice or with local council or government.
* Communicates graphically at a proficient level using both digital and hand drawn formats to convey design ideas, concepts and documentation.
* Brings an understanding of design principles and methods and the ability to apply them in the urban environment.
* Is a competent and efficient Revit user and is a competent and efficient user of Adobe Suite and
* Experience using SketchUp, Rhino and other 3D modelling software strongly preferred.
* Engages in cross-team communication and solution development to help inform outcomes and project delivery.
