Provide transport assistance to members of the community to access outpatient health appointments. Meaningful work that makes a difference to the health of the community
**What you'll be doing**
To provide a safe and effective, efficient transport service to/from the Illawarra Local Health District and other facilities, for patient and clients of the Local Health District. To deliver a high level of customer focus service for a diverse range of clientele including patients, clients, general public and staff members a safe and effective, efficient transport throughout the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District.

**Selection Criteria**:
- Current unencumbered Class C drivers licence & ability to drive a variety of manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
- Demonstrate an understanding of manual handling techniques combined with proven ability to perform work of a physical nature.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills and an ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team and with mínimal supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise and time manage a busy work schedule.
- Demonstrated ability to work a (5) day a week roster incorporating a variety of shifts and a willingness to operate from any site within ISLHD.
- Knowledge of and ability to undertake minor motor vehicle maintenance including maintaining log sheets, checking of oil, water, break fluids, tyre pressure and wear, cleaning/washing
