Robo's Tyreworks is a small tyre & mechanical shop in Wandal, Rockhampton and makes up part of the Robo's Group.
The Robo's Group is a group of locally owned family businesses that have been in the Automotive industry now for over 35 years, servicing the local community of Rockhampton, Gracemere & surrounds.
We comprise of Robo's Tyreworks, Robo's Motorworks, Fulcrum Rockhampton, Active Gear, CQ manual Gearbox & Diff Centre plus Tom Leyden Tyres & Mechanical in Gracemere.
Robo's Tyreworks comprises of 2 x mechanics, 3 x Tyre fitters, 1 wheel aligner, 1 x senior service advisor/salesperson & our manager/senior salesperson.
Our biggest asset would be our repeat customer base. We believe in always going the extra mile & providing quality products with exceptional service which has given us some amazingly loyal customers over the years.
We also pride ourselves on looking after our staff. We're always open to flexible working arrangements such as 4-day work week or working school hours.
Qualifications & experience
* Experience in the automotive industry. Either sales in tyres/mechanical or as an ex-mechanic looking to get into sales.
* Hold a current Drivers License.
* Competent in basic computer skills.
* Experience in a similar role preferred but not essential.
Tasks & responsibilities
* Liase with sales team to correctly, price & deliver tyre & mechanical quotes correctly & in a timely fashion .
* Competently serve customers with any tyre & mechanical enquiries.
* Liase with mechanics to competently communicate between sales team & customers.
* Correctly interpret mechanical parts competently to order & quote.
* Learn & operate any computer programmes required to carry out bookings & quotes.
* Lead your team to achieve a high level of work efficiency whilst continuing to improve team moral.
* Constantly look at improving work practices to help contribute to better operational efficiency.
* Ensure all work practices, especially OHS is carried out to the companies Policies & Procedures.
* Manage the flow & quality of tyre & mechanical jobs throughout the day to contribute to customer's satisfaction.
* Achieve revenue goals.
