The Opportunity
Step into a pivotal role in Darling Downs Health's Critical Care Ward, where you'll deliver specialist care to patients with complex and life-threatening conditions. This position blends clinical leadership, teaching, and service innovation—ensuring outstanding patient outcomes while shaping the future of healthcare delivery.
Responsibilities
* Provide expert diagnosis, treatment, and life-saving interventions.
* Mentor registrars and residents, fostering a thriving learning environment.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive excellence in patient-centred care.
* Engage in teaching and research through the University of Queensland.
* Contribute to clinical governance, innovation, and service improvements.
Qualifications
* Fellowship of the College of Intensive Care Medicine (CICM) or equivalent
* Current registration with AHPRA (Specialist)
* Demonstrated expertise in Critical Care/ICU
* Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills
* Commitment to clinical governance, education, and research
