About the role
Tender Mercy Care Pty Ltd is seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team in Melton, Victoria on a part-time basis. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our clients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life through personalised rehabilitation and therapeutic interventions.
What you'll be doing
* Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' needs, strengths, and barriers to independence
* Develop and implement individualised treatment plans to address clients' physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs
* Provide hands-on therapy sessions, including but not limited to, activities of daily living, mobility training, and cognitive-based interventions
* Collaborate with clients, families, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure a coordinated and holistic approach to care
* Maintain detailed client records and documentation to support the delivery of high-quality care
* Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices
What we're looking for
* Minimum of 2 years' experience as a registered Occupational Therapist
* Demonstrated expertise in providing occupational therapy services to a diverse range of clients, including those with complex needs
* Specific experience working with NDIS participants, aged care clients, and clients with physical disabilities
* Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills to tailor interventions to individual client needs
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, families, and the multidisciplinary team
* Commitment to providing high-quality, person-centred care and upholding the values of Tender Mercy Care
* AHPRA registration.
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
* Current Australian Driver's Licence and access to reliable transport for client visits
* Working with Children Check, National Police Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Current First Aid and CPR certification
* Valid work visa or Australian work rights required
