Established in 2012 on the Gold Coast, Zero 9 has grown from a family-run fit-out company into a fully integrated design, manufacturing and construction business delivering high-end commercial and residential projects. We are now looking for a fulltime Skilled Cabinet Maker to join our Factory HQ at Burleigh Heads and occasionally on site, someone who operates at a higher standard, someone who doesn’t just follow drawings, but owns outcomes, lifts the team, and takes pride in leaving nothing average behind.
Reporting to the Production Manager, you will play a pivotal role within the production team and will be committed to manufacturing and installing high quality bespoke joinery to a wide range of venues.
The Role
This is a hands-on, high-impact workshop role where you’ll be trusted to deliver quality joinery from start to finish within a fast-moving production environment.
You’ll be part of a team that values speed, precision, accountability, and craftsmanship in equal measure.
What You’ll Do
* Manufacture and assemble high-end cabinetry and joinery to a premium standard
* Interpret drawings and take responsibility for build accuracy and finish
* Manage your workflow to meet production deadlines without compromising quality
* Identify issues early and contribute practical solutions
* Support and mentor apprentices and developing trades
* Help maintain a clean, efficient, high-performing workshop environment
* Contribute to continuous improvement in methods, systems, and outcomes

You will likely have:
* Strong trade qualification in cabinet making/joinery
* Proven experience in high-end or commercial fit-out work
* Strong attention to detail with pride in final finish
* Ability to work independently and take ownership of outcomes
* A practical mindset with strong problem-solving ability
* A team-first approach without ego, but with high standards
