The Senior Leadership Role:
Curriculum and VET Delivery Expert
This senior role is a key member of the school's Strategic Leadership Team, responsible for leading whole-school systems and initiatives supporting student success in Years 10-12. The successful candidate will oversee curriculum strategy, delivery, and quality assurance for Senior Schooling, including assessment and compliance with QCAA standards.
* Develop and implement effective curriculum strategies to promote successful student outcomes in Years 10-12.
* Maintain high standards of assessment and moderation aligned with QCAA and VET standards.
* Collaborate with staff to expand senior curriculum and VET offerings, ensuring alignment with industry needs and future pathways.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of curriculum design, teaching and learning, and assessment practices. They will also possess excellent leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage with staff, students, and external partners to drive improvement and achievement.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
* Leading curriculum development and implementation for Senior Schooling, including assessment and quality assurance.
* Coordinating processes like SET Planning, subject selection, and student transitions.
* Maintaining effective senior assessment moderation aligned with QCAA and VET standards.
* Collaborating with staff to expand senior curriculum and VET offerings.
* Providing professional development and mentoring on assessment literacy and data use.
You will be supported by a Deputy Principal and collaborate with other leaders and external partners to ensure high standards and achievement for senior students.
