Good Shepherd Lutheran College is a co-educational, non-government school for ELC to Year 12 students. It has three campuses across Darwin: Howard Springs, Palmerston and Leanyer.
Applications are sought for a suitably qualified and experienced Secondary Teachers to join our relief teaching team at the Howard Springs Middle/Senior campus on a casual basis.
Our Secondary Teachers are committed and contribute to the shaping of curriculum, pedagogy and pathways that enable students to fulfil their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, spiritual and psychological growth. They are outstanding educators who develop academic curriculum for diverse pathways that will result in students achieving academic success. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching in a secondary school setting and be confident delivering engaging learning experiences aligned with their curriculum strengths. They will work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a supportive school community. A commitment to restorative practices, a genuine enthusiasm for their subject areas, and a flexible, student‐centred approach to teaching and learning are highly valued. Willingness to teach in curriculum areas outside of their strengths is advantageous.
