Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced leader to fill the role of Resource Recovery Leading Hand. This is an exciting opportunity to take on new challenges and contribute to the success of our organization.
About the Role:
The Resource Recovery Leading Hand will be responsible for supervising and leading the operations of our waste management centre and rural transfer stations. You will work closely with our team to ensure efficient and effective management of our facilities.
Main Responsibilities:
* Assist with the coordination and supervision of landfill personnel and contractors engaged in daily operations.
* Maintain site infrastructure and ensure compliance with environmental and safety guidelines.
* Manage recycling areas efficiently and effectively.
* Implement continuous improvements in all facets of site operations.
* Provide high-quality customer service.
* Undertake regular inspections and attend meetings as required.
* Manage staff, including task delegation and performance monitoring.
Requirements:
* Qualifications relevant to the role.
* Class C Driver's Licence.
* General Construction Induction Training Card.
* Substantial experience in leading and working in a team.
