Role Purpose
We are seeking an experienced and proactive HVAC Service Supervisor to lead the delivery of HVAC services to our clients. Your primary focus will be to ensure the effective servicing and maintenance of mechanical services equipment in line with Australian Standards and Equans policies, while delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, supervise, and mentor HVAC technicians to ensure high-quality, safe, and compliant service delivery.
* Provide on-the-job coaching, technical support, and performance feedback to develop team capabilities.
* Manage daily team operations including scheduling, resource allocation, and task prioritisation.
* Build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to exceed service expectations.
* Oversee maintenance, testing, and documentation of HVAC, refrigeration, and mechanical fire safety systems.
* Support compliance-related fire safety inspections and collaborate with Accredited Practitioners.
* Proactively manage customer concerns and lead sales opportunities related to repairs and system upgrades.
* Maintain administrative accuracy for call reports, timesheets, and KPI reporting.
* Champion safety by modelling Equans' "Nothing We Do is Worth Getting Hurt For" philosophy.
* Participate in after-hours on-call roster.
Skills & Experience
* Minimum 5 years' experience in HVAC mechanical services field roles with a proven track record in team leadership.
* Strong knowledge of Australian Standards applicable to equipment maintenance and compliance.
* Demonstrated ability to drive compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Excellent communication and analytical skills.

1. Certificate III in Refrigeration and Airconditioning
2. Refrigerant Handling License
3. Restricted Electrical License
4. QBCC License – Mechanical Services – Airconditioning and Refrigeration
5. Drivers' License
6. CPR/LVR
7. White Card (Desirable)
