Lead Advocate for Children's Rights
The Young Ambassador program is an excellent opportunity for young people to make a positive impact on the lives of children and young people across Australia.
As a Young Ambassador, you will have the chance to develop your leadership, advocacy, media, and communications skills through extensive training. This will enable you to effectively engage with other young people, leaders, and decision-makers.
You will work closely with the UNICEF Australia Child and Youth Engagement Team and the Domestic Policy and Advocacy Team to amplify the voices of children and young people.
* Be aged 16-24 years old and reside in Australia for the duration of the program
* Have a genuine passion for hearing from children and young people across Australia
* Enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team and independently
* Support social justice initiatives for marginalized children and young people
* Commit to making a positive difference in the lives of children and young people across Australia
