Civil Structural Engineer Job Description
We are looking for a talented Civil Structural Engineer to lead our sustainability efforts in renewable energy projects.
About the Project
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and reviewing civil and structural components of renewable energy projects, including solar farms, wind farms, and battery storage systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Structural design and review of gantries, transformer slabs, fire walls, oil containment systems, switchyard structures, footings, control buildings, earthworks, drainage, and roads.
* Due diligence and risk assessment of civil and structural components of renewable energy projects.
* Civil design and design review of transmission line towers and structures and foundations.
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualifications in Civil or Structural Engineering, acceptable for admission as a professional engineer to Engineers Australia, or equivalent professional body.
* Minimum 10 years' experience in engineering design consultancy environment.
* Ability to solve complex technical and operational problems, either through a systematic approach or innovation.
