Applications are sought for the following position:

This is a part-time (term time) position of 3 days per week, 2pm - 6pm (4hrs per day).

JOB SUMMARY

Daily general supervision, developing and administering extra-curricular programs for student activities for the King's Christian College Group of campus.

CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Supervises and monitors student activities on campus, including advising organisations, as well as developing, coordinating, implementing, and scheduling programs of a co-curricular nature.
- Communicate with Heads of Campuses, Heads/Deputies of school (Primary/Secondary), Directors of Sport and Marketing departments.
- Implement annual and ongoing onboarding possesses
- Continual updating of compliance and onboarding processes
- Developing, planning, and coordinating recreational activities and student leadership development opportunities within the extracurricular programs.
- Assists and advises organisations regarding program planning, use of facilities, program arrangements, services, and available equipment.
- Attends Student Government Association meetings and other student-sponsored social events.
- Explains and monitors compliance with college policies and procedures pertaining to student activities; serves as a resource to faculty and other staff in matters of program development, policy, and procedures.
- Facilitate an orientation tour for entering organisations and their staff; assists in registration process and other related extracurricular policies and procedures.
- May assist in developing and designing various informational and promotional materials and publications about the activities, and the campus in general.
- Maintains and publicises a calendar of activities.

MINIMUM ACCEPTABLE QUALIFICATIONS

- Blue Card
- Prior experience around student affairs and services student activities in a college setting required.
- Ability to establish close working relationships with students, faculty and staff at the college and also the external providers
- Willingness to work nights during ongoing activity.

OTHER DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

- Education training or marketing or related areas are highly preferred.

Your curriculum vitae should include details for;

- at least 2 recent professional referees (including your current employer)
- at least 1 referee who can attest to your suitability to work within the values and culture of an expanding Christian school (preferably from a pastor or minister).

The REEDY CREEK CAMPUS (on the southern end of the Gold Coast) has more than 2400 students on-site, from Early Learning through to Year 12. This campus also includes a Trade Training College.

Our PIMPAMA CAMPUS (on the northern end of the Gold Coast) currently has over 1500 students on-site, from Early Learning to Year 12.

King's LOGAN VILLAGE CAMPUS (in south-west Logan) offers places for students from Early Learning through to High School.

As such, candidates will be subject to a Qld Teacher Registration check or Blue Card screening and other relevant checks as required.
