You will be responsible for providing quality personal, social, and emotional care and support to residents in accordance with Arcare's Values. Your role will play a crucial part in residents' overall wellbeing.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Personal Care: Assist with activities such as showering, dressing, toileting, and grooming, maintaining the dignity and privacy of each resident.
* Mobility Support: Help residents with walking, using mobility aids, or transferring between different positions including from a bed to a wheelchair.
* Monitoring Health: Observe and report any changes in the resident's health or behavior.
* Meal Assist: Support residents with their dietary requirements, ensuring they receive the food they need and assist them in the process of eating.
* Maintaining Records: Keep accurate records of care provided, observations, and any changes in the resident's condition on eCase.
* Collaboration with Healthcare Professionals: Work in collaboration with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for our residents.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Cert III Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent qualification.
* An adaptable and passionate approach, with a willingness to learn.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
