About The Role
As the Head of Department (Curriculum), you will possess strong knowledge of curriculum with a strong focus on English and Mathematics. You will lead curriculum initiatives and make a meaningful impact on student learning and school success in a supportive school environment.
You will drive the enhancement of teaching and learning quality while fostering positive, collaborative relationships with students, teachers, and stakeholders, ensuring that curriculum goals translate into meaningful educational outcomes and a supportive, engaging learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead with Vision and Purpose: Drive the development and implementation of a shared educational vision that delivers high-quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Promote Equity and Excellence: Embed socially just practices and uphold high standards of performance for both staff and students.
- Engage in Strategic and Future-Focused Leadership: Apply strategic thinking to align school programs with long-term goals while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies.
- Foster Collaboration and Partnerships: Build strong, positive relationships with students, parents, staff, government agencies, and community groups to support student success.
- Manage Resources Effectively: Oversee human, financial, facilities, and curriculum resources to achieve program and whole-school objectives efficiently and sustainably.
