About the Wakulda Air Battle Management System Wakulda is a core component of the Royal Australian Air Force's air defence surveillance network operated by the RAAF in Williamtown, New South Wales and Edinburgh, South Australia. Developed and sustained by Boeing Defence Australia, it is a complex, integrated air defence command and control system which receives, interprets and consolidates data from over 250 defence and civil radars and other sensors to generate and display the Australian Recognised Air Picture. Since becoming operational in 2010, Wakulda has been incrementally upgraded in collaboration with the RAAF to enhance its capability. The Opportunity: We are seeking a talented Integrated Planning & Scheduling Specialist to join the Wakulda program in delivering a world class network-centric ground-based air surveillance and control system, which supports surveillance and air battlespace management missions. The role is based in Brisbane. Responsibilities: * Supports preparation, development and maintenance of program High Level Flows to meet program requirements. * Supports the maintenance of complex integrated project plans and detailed schedules to meet project requirements. * Gain schedule status updates from control account managers, create reporting metrics and actively manage baseline change activities across the lifecycle of a project. * Assists the analysis and reporting of project performance variances and incorporate recovery plans. Experience/Qualifications * Strong negotiation, communication and organizational skills * Experience in Project Management or Project Scheduling/Earned Value/Performance Management Systems in a commercial environment * Understanding of critical path analysis * Ability to tailor information and data for presentation to various stakeholders and levels of management * Experience in MS Excel and Visio * Prior experience with Open Plan Professional (OPP), Cobra and the Defence Industry will be advantageous but not critical, and * Applicants must be an Australian citizen to be able to gain Defence security requirements If you don't meet 100% of the criteria for this role, but know you have the right foundational experience and qualifications, don't hesitate to apply.
