Temporary Accounts Payable – Residential Builder Our client is a well-established residential building company based in the inner eastern suburbs of Adelaide, with a strong reputation for quality and professionalism in the industry. Due to an increasing workload, they are seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Clerk (Level 3) to temporarily join their team and provide support for approximately two months. The Role: This is a temporary, part-time position — one day per week (Thursday preferred, with flexibility if required). You will work alongside a permanent member of the accounts team to ensure continuity, support and a smooth handover. You’ll be responsible for assisting with day-to-day payable duties including: Uploading and processing invoices and supporting documentation Maintaining accurate financial records within Xero and Buildertrend Assisting with filing, matching documentation, and responding to supplier queries Supporting the smooth running of accounts payable operations within a busy, hands-on team Hours: Flexible – 9:00am–5:00pm, 8:30am–4:30pm, or similar Duration: Approx. 2 months Location: Inner eastern suburbs, Adelaide Parking: On-street parking available The Candidate: To be successful in this position, you will ideally have: Previous Accounts Payable experience Proficiency in Xero (essential) and Buildertrend (preferred) Strong attention to detail and accuracy with data entry and documentation Excellent communication and organisational skills A proactive, reliable, and team-oriented approach Benefits: Supportive team environment with training and handover provided Flexible hours and friendly onsite team Convenient inner-suburban location with easy parking Great opportunity to contribute to a well-respected residential builder If you’re looking for a short-term opportunity to support a growing team and have the relevant accounts payable experience, we’d love to hear from you.
